Still here even though you're gone!

It may have been 6 months, 6 years, or more since you walked through the Van Wickle gates on your way into the world from Brown, or enjoyed the “spectacle” of a RISD graduation ceremony.  However long it has been, we want to welcome you back!  No, not just through homecoming, but through a section of our web site devoted to alumni.

We hope that you look back on your time in Providence with some healthy nostalgia.  We also hope that if you were involved with the ministry of RUF or Grace Covenant, you look back on your time here as a spiritually significant time as well.  Do you remember…

• Friday night small groups or Gatherings singing praise to God and growing in the gospel?
• That small group you were a part of where you really got to wrestle deeply with God’s Word?
• Those late night conversations with non-Christian friends where you got a chance to share Christ and Him crucified?
• Those friends in the fellowship who laughed, studied, cried, and prayed with you through the challenges of life at Brown or RISD?

We hope you do for many of the current members of the fellowship still remember many of you!  Many of you are still remembered as examples, servants, and friends.  All of you Alumni as a whole are remembered now by many as crucial to our current ministry through your prayers and financial support.

It is our hope through this section of our web site that our communication with you and your communication with us and one another will be strengthened.  Over the coming months, please check back often and let us hear from you!  Here are some of the things we have planned:

• An alumni directory that will allow us to send you updates as well as allow you to communicate with one another.
• Suggested reading to continue to grow in the Biblical and theological realities you began to grow in while in the ministry here.
• Special announcements, greetings and testimonies from current students, and other items just for Alum's.
